Web of Science publications for a Chinese research group
A group of Chinese researchers needed publications recognised both internationally and by their universities’ own ranking systems — a strategic journal-selection problem as much as a writing one.
Where the client started
The group aimed for internationally recognised publications in Teaching, Education and Artificial Intelligence that would also satisfy their institutions’ publication criteria.
The core difficulty was the gap between international journal rankings and Chinese institutional evaluation systems: journals recognised as Web of Science Q1 internationally are classified differently by some Chinese universities, making strategic journal selection essential.
What we did
Identified journals aligned with both international indexing standards and the clients’ institutional requirements.
Refined and academically edited each manuscript for the target venues.
Managed journal submission end to end.
Guided the group through the review process to acceptance.
The outcome
The collaboration produced Web of Science-indexed publications that fulfilled the clients’ academic requirements.
Following the initial success, the partnership expanded into multiple research projects and continues as a long-term collaboration.
